Heritage Open Days

Typical. It's not like I've been looking forward to this weekend of exploring my local area for the last month or anything, but:

1. It's raining. Ok, it's mainly drizzle and it's meant to clear up later, but the last few weekends have been fine and dry and lovely. Plus, it's meant to be worse tomorrow. Hnng.

2. I have the mother of all colds - started out as a sniffle, then to sinuses full of head!goo (3-pillow orthopnoea, anyone? Bleaugh), and today I have a cough that makes me sound like a 70-year old smoker, and inflamed tonsils. Looovely.

Someone is determined to keep me at home, but I will not be defeated. (And the Landguard Outer Batteries are open, I get to go through the fence!) I feel better than I did during the week, and I'm sure drizzly sea air will make me feel grrrrreat (ha ha).

Catch it, bin it, kill it!
