*has finally FINALLY got rid of the old mouse that double-clicked and treble-clicked and accident-clicked and generally pissed about, and is SO HAPPY she has a FUNCTIONAL computer again*

Oo-er, missus. *is having visions of it being a device from really really bad TF fanfics...*

That reminds me of the time my computer insisted I had to put a CD into my new memory stick. (Okay, where do I enter it and how do I get it to fit?) Though, I assume your your mouse is actually working ... (I need a new mouse, too. Got one that will work fine for drag and drop, but might not notice I'm trying to left click and one that will click, but drop at random and is wireless and hence tends to run out of batteries at exactly the wrong moment. :( )

*lol* I think your PC no know how memory sticks work.

Yeah, sometimes the mouse would multiple-click, sometimes it'd not click at all, it'd drop things in stupid places, and so on. It's on a wire, though, so no worries about batteries. STUPID MACHIINE

Well, actually after a lengthy e-mail exchange with customer support they realised that my OS was unable to handle the password protected drive. (The thing had two drives, one password protected, the other normal, but it would automatically start on the password protected one.) - Now don't say anything about buying non compatible hardware: It said it was compatible on the box. I'd checked that.

(I eventually got it to work, too, but it involved the company sending me extra software, transferring that software to my not internet capable notebook and deleting the f***ing password protected drive ... Primus! I'd just wanted a stick to store my fics on!)

Wires are good things. (Keyboard's wireless, too. It likes running out of batteries mid-chat ...)

The bad thing about being left-handed is that Logitech mice (the brand that I use) are right-handed. Also, I need to get a new mouse pad. My current one causes my mouse to jump around sometimes.
